Father’s Club

The Fathers' Club at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Day School helps out in various ways throughout the year. The club includes dedicated men who are helping to improve the quality of experience and education at Blessed Sacrament. Please join us. The more minds and bodies we have, the more we can do.

As fathers, we all want the very best for our sons and daughters. However, there is a limit to the amount of funds the school can allocate to any one area; therefore, it is the Club's aim through our activities to help the administration provide our children the best opportunity to pursue all areas of their studies and activities with up to date tools.

 Yearly Activities

  • Annual Fall Fest- Work alongside HSA in the planning, set-up and take down of the event
  • Cookies with Santa – Set up table & chairs along with decorations for the event. Organize and run the Christmas plant sale which includes poinsettia plants, wreaths & cemetery boxes.
  • Mother’s Day & Easter – Organize and run a plant sale with Easter Lilly’s

In addition to the events we participate in, the Fathers’ Club will assist the Principal  & Teachers with any projects they need:

  • Hanging of bulletin boards or white boards
  • Cleaning and disposal of storage areas school wide
  • Light duty “handy man” project school wide, which may include installing new closet door handles, touch up paint, repairing of shelves.
  • Assist with any function set up. The Father’s Club set up and decorated for the 100 year dinner in the school gym.

Special Projects

Each year the Father's Club is will be asked to tackle special projects both large and small; past examples include moving classroom furniture, painting of a classroom or office, repairing a fence, and installing playground equipment. Most projects are done entirely by Fathers' Club members.

What's Involved?
